Mahalo.
Owner, Jennifer Anthony is a hopa haole (mixed heritage) from Honolulu, Hawaii where her maternal family has lived for over a century. The name Mahalo Therapeutic Massage is an homage to her Japanese family and cultural practices passed down for generations.
The word “mahalo” means “thank you” in the Hawaiian language. It is used both in greeting and parting. It is a word of admiration and praise. The sentiment is sacred and powerful. Humility and gratitude are central to the practice of massage therapy. It is an honor to serve you and be entrusted with your care.
Mahalo for taking the first step. Mahalo for honoring your physical body. Mahalo for making time for yourself and your care today.
